Lake Kari

Mount Aragats the highest point in both Armenia and the Lesser Caucasus range (13,418 feet [4,090 m]). The crater of the volcano has become the steep-walled basin, or cirque, of a glacier, and there are several other minor glaciers.
The South Summit of Aragats is an easy walk, and climbed quite frequently. However, the weather can change rapidly even during the hot summers. It is climbed from Kari Lake (3190 m). There are no set paths, but the summit is visible from Kari Lake.
